Ukrainian producer KLIM makes his Cold Busted debut with Kaleidoscope. Each cut introduces a new angle: clipped percussion, chopped source material, bass-heavy sequences, and small details that reveal themselves with each pass.
The title fits the record’s restless construction. Patterns split apart and reconnect. Familiar hip-hop foundations are rearranged into changing shapes, while KLIM keeps the pacing active from the opening bars of “The Right Way” through the closing “Keep Doing.”
Rather than settling into a single lane, Kaleidoscope keeps rotating the view. The result is a record that feels varied without losing its center — fourteen pieces connected by KLIM’s instinct for rhythm, arrangement, and the possibilities hidden inside a sample.
