Los Angeles-based beat-herder Esbe gets “Peaceful” for the launch of Cold Busted’s new digital singles series. Gentle chords and hushed voices begin this dreamy production, as a scratchy hip hop rhythm and sparkling melody draw the listen deeper into the track's headspace. Esbe’s “Peaceful” is just that — a chill but rolling instrumental to set the mind at ease.
These releases tend to sound a bit more lo-fi than normal records.
