Swiss beats producer DRWN. (AKA Marcel Kalt) has prolifically produced his tunes since discovering the experimental potential of hip hop culture. With a jam-packed Bandcamp page, it was only a matter of time before he connected with Cold Busted for an installment in the label's digital singles series. "zodiac" is that single, fading in with a lonely vibe transmitted through slowly swirling pads, a repeating, melancholy sax and synth melody, and a hopeful, crisp rhythm track. DRWN.'s' expression is deeper than one may think upon first listen, an inspiration to explore this young producer's growing discography.
