Cold Busted proudly presents the debut album from Montreal-based producer Karmawin, titled Lucky Tomatoes Island, arriving August 22, 2025. Seamlessly blending instrumental hip-hop, downtempo, and touches of international flavor, Karmawin crafts a soulful, sun-drenched world that’s as personal as it is transportive.

The album’s title is rooted in story: “Lucky” honors the good things that arrived in Karmawin’s life after moving to Montreal, “Tomatoes” references the album’s vivid artwork, and “Island” nods to the city’s unique geography — an island buzzing with culture and inspiration.

Standout tracks include “In Your Eyes”, a tender and sultry collaboration with vocalist Mona B.; “St Laurent Blvd Walk”, a nostalgic instrumental ode to city strolls; and “Wet Summers”, a breezy bossa nova-inspired groove that radiates warmth and coastal charm. The album also features guest contributions from GrandHuit, Babouk, and Shogo, enriching the vibe with global color.
